Day 52. Feb 21st.

WOW! What an absolutely gorgeous weekend we have had! The sun is shining and the snow is melting. Not even the snow still on the ground could deter Tanner from basking on the deck a little!

Day 51. Feb 20th.

Elsie may have said she was feeling better, but oh she was so, so tired after an hour and a quarter of dance classes today!

Day 50. Feb 19th.

I have been trying to work on these on and off for a month now! I finally have them done. Good thing. The class is Thursday! Thankfully, people have signed up before seeing the cards!

Day 49. Feb 18th.

BLAH! First Elsie, then Tanner and I. And now, maybe Shawn. Meet bottles and bowls. Should be enough info for you to figure it out.

Day 48. Feb 17th.

Well, today was a no-brainer what I would share with you... Shawn's latest project. A scrapbooking (or what-have-you) armoire - The Craft Executive.

Day 47. Feb 16th.

Ooops. Not being very green, but it is so hard to deny Tanner his simple pleasures.
As some of you know, Tanner LOVES playing with plastic bags... he loves to throw them up in the air and watch the wind catch them. Unfortunately, the wind often catches them and carries them away - to far away places - or the neighbours yard - or the ravine across the street.

This is what I noticed today as I went out...

Day 46. Feb 15th.

Told ya I'd get flowers for Valentine's Day! :)

Day 45. Feb 14th.

Ok. My son would disown me if he knew what I was about to post. Remember when I said that Tanner was starting to copy Elsie? Well, here he is in her dance outfit, after asking to put it on! Flattering, don't you think? LOL

Day 44. Feb 13th.

Daddy's Valentine's Day gift is done! Not bad for a $3 frame from Fields. LOL

Day 43. Feb 12th.

GO CANADA GO! Opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games in Vancouver... and I am home from work in time to watch them! Thought it only fitting that I show a picture of my own Team Canada!

Day 42. Feb 11th.

My daughter is strange sometimes. She was sitting on the couch and insisted that I get a picture of her balancing her glitter ball. Well, I did need a photo to post for the day! :)

Day 41. Feb 10th.

My son is too funny! Tanner is starting to copy Elsie more and more. Check out the pink headphones and DVD player he is using. Yup, they belong to Elsie.

Day 40. Feb 9th.

Hmmm, what to get Daddy for Valentine's Day from the kids? Well, maybe we can do something with these pictures that I snapped today.

Day 39. Feb 8th.

Another project I completed at the all day crop. It is a gift for a friend, so I can only show you this much for now. It is called a Star Album - for obvious reasons!

Day 38. Feb 7th.

Not yet done... and certainly not the way I am going to leave it, but closer and closer to being finished.
We moved the computer desk out of my studio and put in a countertop and shelves instead. Slowly, it is getting to the way I envisioned it!

Day 37. Feb 6th.

LOL. Elsie and I were dancing around in the familyroom. Somehow we started talking about wedding dresses and I asked her if she wanted to see mine. Not only did she want to see it, but she wanted to try it on. Needless to say, it was a little big on her!

Day 36. Feb 5th.

I attended an all day crop at work not too long ago. Here is one of the layouts that I completed that day. I still need to add the journalling to it, otherwise it is done. The pictures were taken last spring. Shawn had dug a new post hole for a fence for the garden. He stuck Elsie in the hole and her feet didn't even touch the bottom - our own little garden gnome!

Day 35. Feb 4th.

I know I posted a long time ago (somewhere) about when I received this note... but I have never actually taken a piture of it and posted that. So, here is the note that Elsie wrote for me one day.

Day 34. Feb 3rd.

Ok, so I am WAY behind in posting, but I have been taking pictures every day. So, here are the pics!

I had gone through the kids' toys a few days before this. Elsie "rediscovered" some of her dress-up toys. Here she is doing some repairs...

Day 33. Feb 2nd.

We were dancing up a storm, and then the kids started getting a little rowdy! But, it was so fun to watch them play together! Sorry if the images aren't the greatest quality. They were made in to stills from a video...

Day 32. Feb 1st.

My daughter is so silly. I'm not quite sure where she got the idea of where exactly make-up is to be applied on your face, but she's definitely an original. Maybe it was the couple of times she had her face painted and they painted a tiara on her forehead?!?!?!?!?

Day 31. Jan 31st.

There was some talk on Londonmoms about comfort items of the kids. Well, Tanner first received a Tad doll for either his 2nd or 3rd birthday from our Home DayCare Provider Judy. Pretty sure it was his 3rd. So, for almost 6 yrs this guy has slept with my son every night. We are probably on Tad number three. We have another that works sometimes, and one more brand new in the box that had better work when we need it to! Tad will help you learn your shapes and colours, he sings simple nursery rhymes, and also plays your choice of 1 to 6 mins of classical lullabies. That's the 6 minutes that it takes Tanner to fall asleep. ;)

So, I introduce to you... TAD. (The DVD is under his arm so that you can get an idea of his size.)

Day 30. Jan 30th.

WOW! That's about all I can say. Driving home from swimming tonight, I had to drive around to the soccer field so that I could get a better look at the moon. It was GORGEOUS! Picture doesn't do it justice (maybe if I'd had my camera at said soccer field where the moon seemed larger and closer to the horizon than where it was when I got home.)

Day 29. Jan 29th.

Today Elsie's class went skating. Fortunately, Shawn and I were able to go along, too. A fun time was had by all!

Day 28. Jan 28th.

So, I got a phone call yesterday telling me that my name was at the top of a waitlist. I was quite excited, as it was a waitlist to go see Sleeping Beauty at Once Upon a Teacup! Elsie knew nothing of it, and I would not tell her where we were going, just that we were going to see someone!

Well, she must have been tired, because for the first little while (before Sleeping Beauty showed up), she got dressed up, and then wanted to take the dress off. She was ready to go home! WHAT? No way.

But, once Sleeping Beauty showed up and started reading stories, dancing with them, playing games, and doing make-up, she was good to go.

She also got a signed 8 x 10 and got to have her picture taken with her.

All in all a success!
